Job summary

Astec, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the manufacturing electrical department. Under supervision, you will assemble, evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems to meet product specifications, working with energized equipment and performing tests per safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate manufacturing electrical processes in the panel room and in manufacturing environments.
• Test and troubleshoot heaters and other electrical equipment to ensure readiness for shipment.
• Correct and re-test to verify corrective actions and quality improvements.
• Communicate engineering recommendations to improve processes and reduce defects.
• Monitor quality issues and defer shipments when necessary to protect CX and product integrity.
• Follow company safety rules and procedures at all times.
