Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance on equipment used in its industrial disposal processes. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operation and minimizing downtime across production lines.

The successful candidate will conduct preventive maintenance per schedule, investigate breakdowns with root-cause analysis, and maintain thorough documentation in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Investigate breakdowns and line stoppages using root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize and execute maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and utilities, document everything in the CMMS.
• Open/close work orders, track spare parts, and manage other activities in the maintenance system.
• Inspect and service production equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with standards.
• Review maintenance reports to plan and adjust activities for efficiency.
