Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance across our industrial disposal processes. You will work to keep equipment reliable, reduce downtime, and ensure safe operation in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, performing root-cause analysis, opening/closing work orders, documenting spare parts, and inspecting equipment to meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and downtime.
• Utilize root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with teams.
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete paperwork in the maintenance system.
• Open and close out work orders and manage spare parts in the plant’s maintenance program.
• Inspect equipment for conformance with safety and performance standards.
• Review maintenance reports to plan and modify activities.
