Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive, planned and unplanned maintenance on our industrial equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations across the waste disposal process. You will use root-cause analysis, prioritize repairs, open and close work orders in the CMMS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 2–4 years in heavy industrial

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights; wear full-face respirator as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Use root-cause analysis to diagnose breakdowns and collaborate with teams.
• Open/close work orders in CMMS, manage spare parts and documentation.
• Repair and maintain production equipment, inspect and replace components as needed.
• Review maintenance reports to plan and modify activities; ensure safety and compliance.
