Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment used in our industrial disposal processes. You will work in a heavy manufacturing environment, perform inspections, repairs and maintenance tasks, and document activities in our maintenance system.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with the ability to work a rotating shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Use root-cause analysis to investigate line stoppages in collaboration with teams.
• Prioritize maintenance, repair and installation work to minimize downtime and complete all required paperwork in the maintenance system.
• Open and close work orders, check parts, and record activities in the maintenance program.
• Repair and maintain industrial machinery including inspection, assembly, disassembly as needed.
• Observe machinery to diagnose malfunctions via mechanical means.
• Review maintenance reports to plan activities and ensure safety and standards are met.
• Inspect machines for conformance with safety and operation standards.
