Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance ensuring safe, efficient operation of equipment in our industrial disposal process.

You will conduct preventive maintenance per schedule, troubleshoot line stoppages, and document all activities in our maintenance system while coordinating with various teams to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Investigate breakdowns and line stoppages using root-cause analysis with teams.
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete documentation in the maintenance system.
• Open/close work orders, check out spare parts, and perform required activities in the plant system.
• Repair/maintain machinery including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacements.
• Observe machinery to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical devices.
• Review reports to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Inspect machines for conformance with safety and performance standards.
