Job Details

Position: Maintenance Mechanic III with journeyman plumber experience for Good Sam Hospital.

Employment Type: Full Time, 80 hours bi-weekly.

Shift: Varies, start time between 6 am-8 am, 8-hour shifts.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, this role involves maintaining and repairing hospital buildings, facilities, and equipment at an expert, master craftsman, or specialist level in building trades. The employee should be proficient in multiple trades, provide technical guidance, and work independently to assess and address maintenance needs. Customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/electrical background with familiarity in repair tools and terminology.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• 3-4 years of related experience.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.

Working Conditions
