Job summary

Ventura Coastal, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Level II for the Tipton, CA facility. You will maintain, repair and service production equipment to maximize uptime, including conveyors, pumps and motors, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 3+ years industrial maintenance experience and optional MIG/ARC welding along with PLC/electronics knowledge; you may advance with supervision toward Level III as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

Demonstrated and verifiable maintenance skills and mechanical aptitude.
Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience.
Post high school education in maintenance related courses is a plus.
MIG/ARC welding skills are a major plus.
Experience with PLCs and hydraulics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Maintain, test and repair plant equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings and valves.
Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication per the PM schedule.
Record SROs for maintenance work and non-standard conditions.
Assist general contractors with installation of new or modified equipment.
