Job summary

Randstad USA in Florida is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, and maintain plant equipment and production machinery, including sewing gear. Diagnose issues quickly to minimize downtime and assist with small electrical, plumbing, and safety checks.

The role requires basic to intermediate knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, and routine maintenance, with a hands-on mindset and ability to follow safety protocols. First shift; 6:30 AM - 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, and routine machinery maintenance.
• Problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on mindset.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and lift/move equipment as needed.
• Prior experience in industrial facility maintenance or machinery repair is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Ability to carry out routine preventative maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
• Builds, assembles, and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
• Assists in fabricating jig and fixtures
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs on facility including replacing lights, ballasts, a/c filters, plumbing, and minor repairs.
• Pressure wash building, paint facility and maintain grounds
• Ability to do light carpentry/woodworking.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety, lockout - tag out procedures and SDS
• Performs other inherent duties related, but not limited to, the above

What You’ll Do

• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect, service, and maintain industrial equipment, production machinery (including industrial sewing gear), and facility systems.


• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical or facility issues quickly to keep downtime to a minimum.


• General Facility Upkeep: Assist with light electrical, plumbing, safety checks, and basic structural maintenance around the plant.


• Safety & Compliance: Work safely alongside a passionate crew in an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, and routine machinery maintenance.
