Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade or vocational schooling or equivalent industrial experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment.
• Automation and/or PLC experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety standards and able to work without supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible hours for this position.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose problems with time and cost estimates.
• Repair and rebuild complex machinery from drawings and specs.
• Rig, move, and align machines to foundations.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, gas, water, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Fabricate parts from sheet metal using metalworking tools and complete certifications as needed.
