Job summary

The Mondelēz International Maintenance Mechanic role supports continuous operation of high-speed packaging lines across our U.S. manufacturing footprint. You will perform autonomous and progressive maintenance, follow safety protocols, and use CMMS and SAP-PM to track work orders and asset improvements.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, read P&IDs and schematics, collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams, and help train teammates to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years hands-on maintenance experience or completion of an approved apprenticeship/training program.
• Ability to work in a team with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, basic machining, welding, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and manage CMMS entries.
• Document, track, and report maintenance activities and assets in SAP-PM.
• Diagnose and repair high-speed processing and packaging lines.
• Read technical drawings and schematics (P&IDs, blueprints).
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to solve issues.
• Safely operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Support continuous skills development of the team.
