Job summary

Amcor in Louisville, KY seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to support production by repairing and maintaining diverse packaging equipment across plant floors. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, manage parts using the MRO system, and ensure GMP and safety standards are met.

The role requires 3–5 years of high-speed production maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic/PLC skills, forklift certification, and teamwork to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC systems.
• Proficient with computer-based work order and MRO systems.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate safely per OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance on all machinery during shift; troubleshoots plant issues as needed.
• Provides timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensures parts are stocked.
• Uses MRO/work-order systems to manage parts and record maintenance activities.
• Supports equipment improvements and continuous improvement efforts.
