Job summary

Freshexpress in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Technician to safely maintain, repair and modify processing, packaging and facility equipment for quality and efficiency. You will operate CMMS, troubleshoot PLC and motor controls, read schematics, and support process improvements while documenting inspections and working with production teams.

Candidates need 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience or technical training, and a high school diploma or technical certification;

Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and manuals.
• Experience with PLC controls and motor control systems.
• English literacy and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMMS to complete work orders and log maintenance issues.
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot PLC controls and motor controls.
• Read schematics and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Maintain documentation and logs of inspections and PMs.
• Support safety teams and process improvement projects.
