Job summary

Link Snacks in Perry, GA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the plant and equipment running safely and efficiently. The role requires performing routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to support continuous production.

You will work with site managers to plan maintenance schedules, document work orders in CMMS, and ensure safety standards are met under OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the materials, tools, methods, and techniques used in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic trades.
• Basic understanding of motors, and controllers, hydraulics and pneumatics, plumbing.
• Basic understanding of PLC I/O and TCP/IP.
• Preferred experience in meat processing facility and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machines regularly and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete daily Work Order documentation and enter into CMMS.
• Collaborate with site managers to plan maintenance schedules.
• Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues.
