Job summary

PepsiCo in Gothenburg, NE is hiring a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair production equipment across the facility. You will maintain all facility systems including conveyors and electrical panels, read schematics, and use electrical testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to keep production of beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos running.
• Responsible for maintaining all facility equipment and operating systems including, but not limited to bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.
• Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems; read schematics; and use electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope).
• Support preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking; apply PLC knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Respond to maintenance calls and work urgently under pressure to restore equipment to operation.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for maintaining all facility equipment and operating systems including, but not limited to the following: bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.

• Inspect machines, develop repair lists, identify short- and long-term repairs, and take corrective actions to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
