Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain all facility equipment and operating systems (bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors).
• Regularly inspect electrical and power units; troubleshoot AC/DC systems; read schematics; use testing equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance and work orders; diagnose and resolve equipment issues using PLC knowledge.
• Respond to maintenance calls and restore equipment to operation under time pressure.
• Inspect machines, identify repairs, and implement actions to maximize equipment reliability.

• Pay: $32.40 per hour
• Location: Gothenburg, NE
• Work Days: Monday-Friday
• Start Time: 7:30 am
• End Time: 4:00 pm

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age or older
• You will be required to work on weekends and holidays

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to keep production of beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos running. Your technical expertise and quick response ensure operations stay reliable and communities stay stocked.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for maintaining all facility equipment and operating systems including, but not limited to the following: bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.
• Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems; read schematics; and use electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope)
• Support preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking; apply PLC knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Respond to maintenance calls and work urgently under pressure to restore equipment to operation
• Inspect machines, develop repair lists, identify short- and long-term repairs, and take corrective actions to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
