Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician in Jonesboro, AR to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. You will work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical controls, and use maintenance systems to ensure reliability. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.

Quick Look

• Pay: $37.42 per hour
• Location: 2810 Quality Way, JONESBORO, AR
• Schedule: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, 6:45PM - 7:00AM

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• Required to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 points with or without a reasonable accommodation

• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability

Helpful Experience

• Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
• Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)
