Job summary

PepsiCo in Wooster, OH is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems on production equipment. The role requires lifting 15–50 pounds, standing long periods, and working 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, five days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including control valves and pumps
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems; read schematics; and use electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope)
• Support preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking; apply PLC knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Respond to maintenance calls and work urgently under pressure to restore equipment to operation
• Inspect machines, develop repair lists, identify short- and long-term repairs, and take corrective actions to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
