Job Purpose

The Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician maintains equipment according to the Preventative Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical problems, and performs emergency reactive and proactive repairs of building and grounds, production equipment, and machinery while minimizing downtime.

Key Job Elements

• Perform predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance on pumps, presses, valves, fans, safety guards, and electrical equipment.
• Source and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Monitor and maintain CNC and related machine shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot engines, conveyors, overhead cranes, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, and hydraulics.

Education / Training

• 2-year technical degree preferred.
