The Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician maintains equipment according to the Preventative Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical problems, and performs emergency reactive and proactive repairs of building and grounds, production equipment, and machinery while minimizing downtime.

Key Job Elements

1. Perform predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance and repairs on pumps, presses, valves, fans, safety machine guards, electrical equipment, and related machinery.
2. Source replacement parts, materials, tools, and spare parts as needed; maintain spare parts inventory.
3. Monitor and maintain CNC and related machine shop equipment.
4. Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, overhead cranes, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulics.

Education / Training

A 2-year technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Electrical experience up to 480-volt 3-phase.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Experience with PLCs is desired.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Machining experience is helpful.
