Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
• Hands-on experience with conveyor systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and documentation in a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system troubleshooting.
• Record maintenance findings and update work orders in the CMMS.
• Work with Operations to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
