Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Ashburn, VA to support watch engineers and ensure smooth facility operations. You’ll perform PMs, repairs, and replacements across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while maintaining safety and tenant service quality.

Your day will include CMMS-driven work orders, routine rounds, and collaboration with an operations team to minimize disruption and uphold building performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level experience in general building repair, basic plumbing and basic electrical.
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable to perform demanding maintenance tasks and weather exposure.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Proficient computer skills for day-to-day communications.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to reach, bend, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility systems.
• Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance assignments.
• Repair/replace/install ceiling tiles and flooring.
• Perform minor plumbing and HVAC maintenance.
• Perform minor electrical work and lighting replacements.
• Conduct facility rounds and report conditions.
• Escort vendors for preventive maintenance.
• Support after-hours building activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete safety trainings.
