Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our Lansing, MI on-site team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing building systems, equipment, and related infrastructure to preserve assets and support daily operations.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, basic HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing work, and adherence to safety and procedures. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a relevant technical training program preferred.
• Minimum of one year of applicable building repair and maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication in English—both oral and written; able to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to preserve building systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventive and some predictive maintenance; use of task planning methods.
• Work with HVAC/R systems, electrical and plumbing basics; support nightly and on-call tasks.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in common work areas; participate in safety processes.
