Job summary

Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC is seeking a Vertique Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain warehouse equipment and manage parts purchasing. The role involves identifying issues, troubleshooting, and providing solutions to keep Vertique processes running smoothly.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a preference for 1+ years in mechanical/electrical work. Excellent problem-solving and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repair.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Interface with the Vertique support team as required.
• Gain fundamental understanding of system operations.

Summary

The Vertique Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining all equipment within the warehouse system, including parts purchasing. In this role, the mechanic must identify, troubleshoot, repair and provide solutions for problems that occur in Vertique equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repair.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned
• Utilize menu driven software, troubleshoot system issues.
• Interface with the Vertique support team as required.
• Gain fundamental understanding of system operations
• Frequently bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years of mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and schematics.
• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.
• May be required to supply hand tools.
