Job summary
Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC seeks a System Maintenance Mechanic Specialist to repair and maintain warehouse equipment, including automation systems. You will identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, and occasionally fill in for the Operations Supervisor.
You will manage preventive maintenance, generate work orders, and coordinate with the Vertique support team to keep production flowing smoothly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance; be alert for issues that may cause system difficulties.
- Generate, complete work orders, rebuild and fabricate parts if needed.
- Utilize menu-driven software; troubleshoot system issues.
- Interface with the Vertique support team as required.
- Record and communicate system events that affect production.
- Monitor the palletizers to ensure continuous operation.
- Monitor the case conveyor going into palletizers for product out of specs.
- Lead others and inform pickers and fork truck drivers when critical items need addressing.
- Respond to sequence check alarms and other system stoppages to maintain flow.
