Job summary

Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC seeks a System Maintenance Mechanic Specialist to repair and maintain warehouse equipment, including automation systems. You will identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, and occasionally fill in for the Operations Supervisor.

You will manage preventive maintenance, generate work orders, and coordinate with the Vertique support team to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
• Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance; be alert for issues that may cause system difficulties.
• Generate, complete work orders, rebuild and fabricate parts if needed.
• Utilize menu-driven software; troubleshoot system issues.
• Interface with the Vertique support team as required.
• Record and communicate system events that affect production.
• Monitor the palletizers to ensure continuous operation.
• Monitor the case conveyor going into palletizers for product out of specs.
• Lead others and inform pickers and fork truck drivers when critical items need addressing.
• Respond to sequence check alarms and other system stoppages to maintain flow.

Summary

The System Maintenance Mechanic Specialist is responsible for repairing and maintaining all equipment within the warehouse system, including parts purchasing. In this role, the Specialist must identify, troubleshoot, repair and provide solutions for problems that occur in Automation equipment and processes. Fills in for Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Schedule & conduct preventive maintenance, be alert for issues or conditions that may cause system difficulties


• Generate, complete work order, rebuild and fabricate parts if needed


• Utilize menu driven software, troubleshoot system issues


• Interface with the Vertique support team as required


• Record & communicate system events that affect production, regularly


• Monitor the palletizers to ensure a continuous operation


• Monitor the case conveyor going into the palletizers to incorrect or product out of specs before it enters the palletizer


• Lead others and inform pickers and fork truck drivers when critical items need to be addressed


• Respond to sequence check alarms, or any other system stoppage, and ensure that sequencing is accurately maintained as product flows through the conveyor system


• Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times while adhering to company policies & procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required


• 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required


• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude


• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills


• Basic proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office and Outlook)


• High school diploma or GED required


• Computer and database application skills


• Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product


• Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
