Job summary

Pure's Food Specialties, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of ovens, packing lines, and conveyors in our Northlake facility.

The role focuses on minimizing downtime, performing timely repairs, and supporting production through preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues, perform welding as needed, document activities, and cooperate with the production team to optimize efficiency while adhering to GMP and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, including conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulics. Welding experience is a plus; PLC diagnostics are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, repair, and maintenance of production machinery, including ovens, packing lines, and conveyors.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to resolve malfunctions quickly.
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems, hydraulic components, and cutting tools.
• Operate and maintain power tools and industrial equipment safely, following safety protocols.
• Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick) as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems and electrical issues to maintain automation.
• Document maintenance activities and inspections for compliance and reference.
• Collaborate with production to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.
• Support changeovers by preparing and adjusting equipment.
