Job summary

151-Food is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep bakery production equipment running efficiently. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance on mixers, proofers, ovens, and conveyors, and coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years in manufacturing or bakery maintenance, with preference for technical training in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or trade school training in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or electrical systems preferred.
• 2–5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, food processing, or bakery operations preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in accordance with diagrams, manuals, and specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on bakery equipment (mixers, proofers, ovens, conveyors, slicers, packaging machines).
• Inspect and replace faulty components such as motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, and gearboxes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records.
• Follow food safety, GMP, OSHA, and safety procedures.
