Join Our Team as a Maintenance Mechanic Assistant at Precise Personnel Staffing

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Assistant. The ideal candidate should possess the necessary skills, aptitude, and knowledge to perform mechanical diagnostics and repairs. Responsibilities include performing maintenance functions for production equipment, such as routine inspections, repairs, or replacements of defective parts. Flexibility to work full-time, including overtime and weekends during peak seasons, is essential. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Mechanical Maintenance and electrical work is required. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain proper inventory of tools and parts.
• Complete maintenance projects on schedule to meet production goals.
• Keep accurate records of equipment repairs via spreadsheets or data input.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
• Perform miscellaneous mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Additional Duties:

• Read and write in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Maintain parts inventory and contact lists.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Possess at least 2 years of electrical experience; diagnose equipment and control panel failures.
• Train staff on equipment operation and minor repairs.
• Create SOPs and maintain a Preventive Maintenance program.
• Maintain and repair industrial/manufacturing machines.
• Work well under pressure and in team environments.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, and manipulative finger movements. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
