Job summary

RRD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to keep production equipment running smoothly on the 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, perform repairs, and maintain equipment such as die cutters, presses, conveyors, and bindery systems.

The role requires reading diagrams, manuals, and specifications, using hand and power tools, and making precise adjustments to ensure alignment and performance. Industrial maintenance experience is preferred; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, align, test, and maintain complex equipment and machinery
• Deep knowledge of equipment and machine control to trace malfunctions and distinguish failures
• Ability to make precise adjustments for alignment, parallelism, and concentricity
• Ability to perform precise measurements of air and fluid pressure and flow
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, wiring diagrams, and specs to isolate malfunctions
• Knowledge of construction and assembly techniques to manufacture replacement parts with complex configurations
• Knowledge of geometry, shop math, and formulas for tolerances and dimensions

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures
• Repair and maintain machinery per diagrams and manuals (die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyors, bindery equipment) using hand and power tools
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools (lathes, milling, drill presses, grinders)
