Job summary

RRD is a global provider of marketing, packaging and print solutions. The Maintenance Supervisor role focuses on maintaining production equipment, performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and repairing bindery and related machinery.

Experience with welders and machine tools is required to reproduce parts as needed. The position emphasizes training others in new processes and lean methodologies, with a pay range that reflects shift and location factors.

Qualifications

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul complex equipment and machinery.
• Advanced knowledge to trace malfunctions and distinguish mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic from electrical failures.
• Interpret multiview drawings, wiring diagrams and specs to isolate failures.
• Identify and manufacture replacement parts with appropriate techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures
• Repairs and maintains machinery per diagrams, manuals and specs (die cutters, presses, conveyors, bindery equipment)
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools (lathes, mills, drills, grinders)
• Must have Bindery ~Press experience
