Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure continuous operation of production and packaging equipment. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read schematics, and support weekend PMs and project work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, knowledge of 480V electrical systems, and flexibility to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 480V systems, relays, contactors, and 3-phase motors.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Demonstrated reliability and job stability.
• Food or protein manufacturing experience preferred.
• Electrical coursework or formal training.
• Military maintenance background preferred.

Role Overview:The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance, and repair on both the production and packaging equipment at the facility

The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical background, working knowledge of basic electrical systems, and flexibility to support extended hours and mandatory weekend maintenance work
