Job summary

Insight Global in Michigan seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment, perform scheduled preventive maintenance, and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

The role manages work orders in CMMS, orders parts, coordinates with vendors, supports production uptime, and mentors junior technicians while upholding safety standards such as LOTO and Arc Flash.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, drives, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and industrial safety procedures.
• Experience with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, megger).
