Job summary

Nylabone is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to manage electrical and mechanical projects across our facilities, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for production equipment. Shift is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

The ideal candidate has two or more years of industrial mechanic experience, with expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics, and the ability to work safely with a range of machinery.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics and operation manuals.
• Skill in applying maintenance/repair techniques to building and equipment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime with a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.
• Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
• Completes preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines by following diagrams, manuals and instructions.
• Install, set up, and tune injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems; may install fixtures or facilities.
• Serves equipment with oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.
• Fixes potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling the electrical and mechanical projects for our facilities including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.

This position runs Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Measures Of Success

• Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
• Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May install and maintain fixtures and facilities.
• Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Other duties as assigned.
