Job summary

Nylabone in Monroe, NJ is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to handle electrical and mechanical projects, troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs and preventive maintenance across our facilities. The role requires knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics, experience with injection molding systems, and the ability to work overtime with a flexible weekend schedule.

You will use power and hand tools, follow manuals, install and tune molding machines, and help keep production

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
• Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime with a flex schedule on weekends.
• Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling the electrical and mechanical projects for our facilities including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.

This position runs Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Measures of Success

• Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
• Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May install and maintain fixtures and facilities.
• Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Other duties as assigned.
