Job Details

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on dairy processing and packaging equipment. Great Benefits! Work Schedule Saturday - Wednesday 2pm - 10:30pm

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Follow all Company Safety Policies.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems to component level.
• Monitor plant systems (boiler, refrigeration, compressed air etc.) to ensure proper operation.
• Make repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete documentation of work completed.
• HACCP Training, Lockout/Tag out Policy, Confined Space Entry Protocol, Annual HTST, Culture, and Blending Training.
• Properly complete all records and maintain cleanliness of work area.

Education And/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years related experience in electrical troubleshooting, motor control, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and plumbing.
• Formal training in Electrical, Welding, Boiler operation, and Refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills and Physical Demands

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and manuals.
• Apply common sense to carry out instructions and deal with standardized problems.
• Regularly stand, walk, handle objects, reach above shoulder height, talk, hear, and possibly climb ladders.
• Lift up to 55 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment

• Work near moving mechanical equipment, in high places, and in wet or humid conditions.
• Use personal protective equipment when handling chemicals.
• Noise level is usually loud; hearing protection required.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Work hours may include weekends and holidays, with options for four 10-hour days. Pay ranges from $24.20 to $26.20 per hour, with additional benefits.
