Cox Automotive's Fleet Services is offering an educational program called FleeTec Academy, designed to train aspiring Diesel Technicians without the high costs of formal technical schools.

The program includes:

1. 4 weeks paid classroom training with all expenses paid, including travel, hotel, and meals.
2. Hands-on training paired with experienced technicians.
3. Potential full-time employment as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic after successful completion.

Pay details include starting at $13.08/hour plus a weekly stipend, increasing to $19/hour after 6 weeks, then $21/hour upon graduation. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs onsite at customer locations, not emergency roadside repairs.

Applicants should have a desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician, be willing to study hard, and be able to dedicate four weeks away from home. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Background checks, driving records, drug testing, and physical exams are required.
