Maintenance Mechanic Technician - 3rd shift (10PM to 6AM)

Overview

Tribute Baking Company is a leading producer of authentic New York style kettle-boiled, hearth-baked bagels and high-quality cake products. Our location is in Lebanon, PA. The Maintenance Mechanic Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting smooth production operations to ensure safety and efficiency.

Schedule

5 days/week, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment related to production, cooling, freezing, and packaging, including mixers, dividers, coolers, freezers, conveyors, metal detectors, and bagging systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Conduct general maintenance duties for plant equipment and building.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing duties as needed.
  • Rebuild or replace equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, chains, and conveyors.
  • Work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies, as required.
Requirements
  • Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform layout work.
  • Basic knowledge of gas tungsten (TIG), gas metal (MIG) welding, and plasma cutting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for plant breakdowns.
  • Fabrication experience is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and wire 3-phase motors, and repair 110V and 24V control wiring.
  • Knowledge of PLC is a plus.
  • Understanding of refrigeration systems.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Food production maintenance mechanic experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Visual and auditory acuity; ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Mobility to move around the plant.
  • Communication skills for exchanging information.
  • Manual dexterity for handling tools and objects.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend.
  • Exposure to environmental changes (heat, cold, dampness, chemicals).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
