Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance and manage change-overs on the line. You will document repairs, parts, and materials in the CMMS, and assist with fabrication or rebuilds as needed.

Safety is a top priority, and the role may involve working with ASRS systems where available. This position is based in Washington with opportunities to support multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years related experience.
• Electrical or vocational certification preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform equipment change-overs, production line setups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild/fabricate parts.
• Utilize CMMS to requisition parts and materials as needed.
• Maintain ASRS systems if present in plant or distribution center.
• Prioritize safety in all operations and tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment


• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts


• The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)


• Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system


• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution


• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
