Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is hiring a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, set up production lines, and document work in the CMMS. You may also work with ASRS systems where available and must pass a technical skills assessment.

The role emphasizes safety in operations and may include other duties as assigned; a High School Diploma or GED is required, with electrical certification preferred for advancement and effectiveness on the line.

Qualifications

• Must pass a technical skills assessment evaluating advanced equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and reliability practices.
• Experience with CMMS and equipment optimization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Performs equipment change-overs, production line set ups and records repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuilds parts.
• Uses CMMS to requisition new parts and materials as needed.
• Maintains ASRS if present in plant or distribution center.
• Ensures safety needs are prioritized in operations and work execution.
• Passes a technical skills assessment as part of the selection process and demonstrates leadership capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment


• Perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts


• Utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)


• Perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system


• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution


• As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating advanced equipment diagnostics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reliability practices, continuous improvement, equipment optimization, commissioning, and technical leadership capabilities. Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
