We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for coordinating and participating in activities involving maintenance and repair of the institution's grounds, buildings, vehicles, and equipment.

Performance Standards

• Perform carpentry, masonry, welding, electrical, and painting tasks on buildings, walls, equipment, and furnishings as assigned.
• Assess repair needs and perform maintenance checks on buildings, vehicles, equipment, grounds, refrigeration, air conditioning, pneumatics, mechanical and plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems based on blueprints, sketches, or instructions.
• Assist in planning and implementing maintenance repairs for buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to submit to and pass background checks.
