Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Niles, IL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot equipment, perform immediate repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on production lines. The role requires handling change-overs, line set ups, and recording repairs and parts used in CMMS.

You may also support ASRS maintenance where available, with safety always prioritized. The position offers a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday with a 10pm start, and a comprehensive benefits package in a union

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years related experience.
• Electrical or vocational certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Perform equipment change-overs, line set ups, and record repairs, parts used, and materials.
• Utilize CMMS to requisition new parts and materials as needed.
• Perform maintenance including ASRS where applicable.
• Prioritize safety in operations support and work execution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
• The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
