Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time role in Downey, CA. Shift is Tuesday–Saturday, 9pm start, with an hourly pay rate of $39.69.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, change-overs, CMMS work orders, and ASRS involvement where applicable. The position requires a High School Diploma/GED with 0–2 years of related experience; Electrical or Vocational Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
• Preferred Education and Experience: Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
• The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
• Other duties as assigned
