Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance at our facility. You will handle change-overs, line setups, and document repairs and parts used, using a CMMS system.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience. Electrical certification is preferred. The role emphasizes safety and requires adherence to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years of related experience.
• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Performs equipment change-overs, production line set ups and records repairs, maintenance, parts used, and rebuilds/fabricates parts.
• Uses CMMS to requisition new parts and materials as needed.
• Maintains AS/RS systems where present.
• Ensures safety needs are prioritized in operations and work execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
• The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
• Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
