Job summary

Jobot is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic with food manufacturing experience to join our production team in California. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and collaborate with operations to maintain high uptime.

Qualifications include 3+ years in a large-scale food manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a large-scale food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as electrical and mechanical components.
• Experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Perform electromechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve any issues with equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve any equipment-related issues that may impact production schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new maintenance procedures and protocols to improve overall equipment reliability and efficiency.
