Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a leading manufacturing company in Fitchburg, MA. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC mills and fabrication equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and help minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years' experience with CNC machinery, familiarity with Fanuc controls, reading electrical diagrams, and strong problem-solving skills. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and fabrication equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair CNC mills and lathes.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and machine improvements.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine reliability.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Job Details

• What You\'ll Do: Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and fabrication equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

• Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Highly Preferred:
• Experience working with Fanuc controls
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, drives, and industrial automation systems
• Computer proficiency for maintenance records and diagnostics
• Experience supporting precision machining operations
