Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced facility. The role offers overtime opportunities to maximize earnings and advance hands-on skills within a team-driven culture.

You will participate in machine down days and trials, modify PLC/HMI/servo logic with Controls Engineers, and document work orders in our computerized systems. High School education required; 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education required.

• Willingness to work night shift and overtime as needed.
• Experience with PLC/HMI/servo control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in machine down days and machine trials to minimize downtime, quality, scrap and safety issues.
• Modify PLC, HMI, and servo controller logic; collaborate with Controls Engineers to implement changes on DCS systems.
• Enter work orders and data into maintenance systems; share information with team members.

salary: $53,000 - $83,000 per year

work hours: 7 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities

• Participate in machine down days and machine trials. Based on extensive experience of the machine processes and controls systems, making critical decisions to proactivel avoid downtime, quality, scrap, and safety problems.
• Making complex program modifications in PLC’s logic, HMI’s programs and servo controller logic to improve equipment performance. Working also with Controls Engineers to implement changes on DCS system. Both of these may also require significant changes to the control equipment and wiring on the machines.
• Complete assigned work orders. Enter work orders and data into the computerized maintenance systems. Share data and information to other team members.

• working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
