Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using PLC and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation
