Job summary

Mativ Minneapolis seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Department on site, report to the Plant Manager, and drive safety, cost, quality and performance objectives in Minneapolis, MN.

You will develop maintenance strategies, manage operations, lead investigations and optimize asset reliability using EAM and PLC know-how to sustain continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred
• High School or Equivilent Degree required
• 6-10 years of experience in a manufacturing/plant environment
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisor or managerial capacity
• CMSS/EAM utilization and experience preferred
• MRO/Stores inventory management knowledge
• Leading metrics development and continuous improvement experience required
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience in extrusion plant operations is preferred
• Strong controls aptitude and PLC troubleshooting is preferred
• Strong computer skills required; Oracle is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership and ensure 100% compliance on pre-use inspections, LOTO, Confined Space, Line Break, and Hot Work
• Provide technical and managerial direction to develop and achieve cost, quality and performance objectives
• Develop maintenance strategies and long-term improvements; manage Opex and labor efficiency
• Fully utilize EAM to ensure maintenance execution and cost performance
• Support operator-driven inspections to prevent breakdowns
• Lead incident investigations and report findings with comprehensive documentation
• Develop and maintain a robust preventative maintenance system
• Participate in cross functional teams to share best practices and improve performance of assets
