Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Neenah, WI site. You will provide technical and managerial direction for the Maintenance Department, ensuring safety, cost control, quality and equipment performance.

Lead maintenance strategies, implement preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement using EAM/CMMS tools. Responsibilities include safety leadership, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to improve asset performance and labor

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisor/managerial capacity.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing/plant environment preferred.
• CMMS/EAM experience preferred.
• MRO/Stores inventory knowledge.
• Leading metrics development and continuous improvement experience required.
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience in extrusion plant operations preferred.
• Strong controls aptitude and PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Strong computer skills; Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Exercise safety leadership as a core value in all decisions and work.
• Oversee safety performance and compliance across areas of responsibility.
• Promote hazard recognition and incident reporting; coach for safety policy adherence.
• Lead incident investigations and reporting for safety, quality, and process loss.
• Ensure 100% compliance on pre-use inspections, LOTO, confined space, line break, and hot work.
• Develop annual maintenance strategies to improve spend and labor efficiency.
• Maintain a robust preventative maintenance system prioritizing equipment criticality.
• Utilize EAM to drive maintenance execution and cost performance.
• Support operator-driven inspections to prevent breakdowns and deterioration.
• Develop and integrate organizational development and succession planning.
